Freezing toilet

Use
🌿 Our house uses a freezing toilet which means that it’s not connected to the sewer and the waste is composted.
‼️ Please do not throw non compostable things in the toilet. Use the bin next to the toilet.

Just like a normal toilet
Use it just like a normal toilet but instead of water use a shovelful of sawdust.

Adjust the temperature
To provide an odour- free experience the toilet freezes it’s contents. You can adjust the strength using the wheel in the back.

Close the lid
⚠️ Close the lid firmly after use!
Emptying the freezing toilet
Should the toilet get full during a longer stay this is how you can empty it.

Close the sack
Open the lid and close the compostable sack

Bucket out!
Take the bucket out of the toilet

Into a the big black container
Throw its content into the black bucket outside. Because the content is frozen it might be a little difficult to empty it, its best to turn the toilet bucket upside down.
04.
Remake
The new compostable sack is in the second kitchen drawer, it’s green.
